Khoudia GUEYE is a network and systems engineer and currenty works at the University Cheikh Anta DIOP of Dakar (UCAD) as the head of the Security, Systems and Networks Division.
She's engaged for years to setting up the snRER (Senegalese NREN), by organizing trainers, designing the network and negotiating pricing with telcos.
Now the snRER network is up and running since 2014, she's involved to implementing services for the Senegalse academic community, the last one is eduroam.
Khoudia GUEYE is very interested in Internet development and has participated in many meetings as a felllow (ICANN, IETF, AfNOG, AfTLD, RIPE NCC, Internet II, APAN, etc.).
Her areas of interest are IPv6, DNS, Wireless, Routing and Identity Federation Services.
In 2012 Khoudia SY joined the NSRC team and has taught courses on DNS, Linux System Administration, BGP routing , Network Monitoring and Management for many NRENs, ccTLDs around Africa and during AIS meetings.
She recently founded the SenChix association, which aims to improve Senegalese Women's live using ICT tools and technologies, and to engage more women and girls to develop expertise in computer science, networking and software development.
