Christian Dietz is a research assistant at UniversitÃ¤t der Bundeswehr MÃ¼nchen, Germany. He obtained his Masterâ€™s Degree at the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt, Germany, in 2013. Christian then started working as a research assistant in the area of network anomaly detection and flow based monitoring. Currently, he is doing his PhD in collaboration between the UniversitÃ¤t der Bundeswehr and the University of Twente in Enschede, the Netherlands. His research interests include network security and monitoring, botnet detection, data mining and machine learning.
