01 - An Architecture for Federated Access Management Performance Data

Michael Grabatin (Leibniz Supercomputing Centre)

The increasing number of participants in federated access management environments, like eduGAIN, requires improved monitoring and information gathering, in order to help service owners and identity providers to better plan and adjust their service to real world usage. Currently, there is no unified way of aggregating statistical information, like number of users or which providers are most active, from all providers of a (inter-)federation. This paper describes a universal architecture that can be used to aggregate, store, and display this statistical information.
